If your at this section of my site your wondering about my story or asking yourself “Why should I become a student at the Academy Of Nail Design?”
So here is a brief summary of my story (I’ll try to make it as right to the point as possible. As it’s a lot to this story so grab your tea haha)
Before attending The Academy Of Nail Design. I was in a hard space in life trying to get back on the horse because I was trying to figure out my new path in life having TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and PDD-NOS (Pervasive Development Disorder). I had fallen into a space where life was daunting.
During this time I contacted all the schools in my area. Learning the hard way I would no longer qualify for finical aid or any schooling government help. Due to the fact my past education highly lacked grade wise.
I searched high and low for a school to call my own. The day I found TAOND I felt a weight lift off my shoulder. Not only was my very first interaction with the school so pleasing, all my questions were asked (even when I needed questions asked repeatedly). Once I made the decision to say yes this will be for me. I found out my state board did not recognize my school as a school of choice. So TAOND and I worked hard getting what the board needed to make a proper decision on if they would accept TOAND and it’s schooling credits. Decision day came. I was on pins and needles awaiting my decision. Then I was alerted with the news... The board accepted my school and allowed me to become a student at TAOND! Once I graduate I would be taking my state board exam here in Tennessee! Also I created a time in history (my history) that now that I worked so hard to go through this process that now anyone in Tennessee can attend this school as well.
One of the best qualities about TAOND is the tuition price! I was able to pay for schooling out of pocket! No finical aid, no grants, no school funding from the government. This made me feel on top of the world as finical aid and government help was not granted to me.
TAOND works with so many states and I was so proud to be apart of the process to have Tennessee added to that list!
This school is so amazing not only is the staff the best you could ask for but they have a work at your own pace structure. This worked so well for me as I had fallen ill a few times during my school journey with my depression. Now look at me almost ready to graduate!
I am so proud of me! This school is nothing but immaculate! So if your story is similar to mine where you want to go to school yo become a Nail Technician but tuition is too costly for your budget. you want to be in a school that you can have self structure and not on a direct schedule or syllabus. Even if you want to work with a school who believes every student is capable and see your hard work pay off THIS IS THE SCHOOL FOR YOU !
I have honestly never been in a school (psychical or online) that made me feel so amazed i see the beauty in my results as I am still learning and growing but I would never trade this experience for the world. TOAND is the best!
